The New Alliance Marine Training Centre (NAMTC) was established in Wuhan in April 2009. It is aiming at providing high standard training service of best quality which is to be recognized and accepted by the strictest ship owners and operators. The mission is to help Chinese seafarers in improving their competence to meet the requirements of the global market.

The New Alliance Marine Training Centre (NAMTC) offers an advanced Dual-Fuel Ship Technology and Application Course, incorporating state-of-the-art simulators to enhance the learning experience. This comprehensive program includes the following key components:

IGF Basic Training (T11): Upon completion and passing the exam, meeting age and health requirements, crew members can directly apply for the IGF Basic Training Certificate.
IGF Advanced Training (T12): Completing this training and passing the exam, along with meeting age and health requirements, is not sufficient for direct certification. Crew members must also have at least one month of recognized sea service on ships using gas or other low-flashpoint fuels, including a minimum of three fueling operations, two of which can be substituted with approved simulator training.

Knowledge and Skills Development: The training focuses on imparting knowledge and skills related to gas fuel operations, management, and contributing to the safe operation of ships compliant with IGF Code.

Advantages of NAMTC:

Kongsberg Bridge Simulator: For training helmsmen in realistic ship maneuvering scenarios.

Kongsberg Engine Simulator with Dual Fuel IGF Model: Focuses on engineering aspects, equipping engineers with the skills to operate dual-fuel supply systems on ships.

Dual-Fuel Engine Room Simulator - Bunkering System: This simulator is dedicated to training on the bunkering system of dual-fuel engine ships, enabling proficiency in dual-fuel engine room operations.

Full Mission Engine Room Simulator: A comprehensive simulator that replicates the operations of dual-fuel engines, control panels, and liquid cargo systems for realistic scenario-based training.

Fuel Bunkering Simulation System: Designed for training in fuel bunkering operations for dual-fuel ships, including procedural and safety aspects.

These advanced training tools allow trainees to become familiar with dual-fuel supply and liquid cargo systems, gain operational skills for dual-fuel engine rooms, and understand the fuel bunkering process for dual-fuel ships in a safe environment. Under the guidance of experienced dual-fuel operation experts and a senior oil and gas process technology team, trainees are well-prepared for future operational environments, ensuring safe and reliable support for dual-fuel ship operations.

Expertise: NAMTC is staffed with experts who possess extensive experience in dual-fuel technology and maritime operations.

Collaborative Approach: The Centre collaborates with industry leaders, ensuring the training is current and relevant.

NAMTC, in collaboration with Singapore's C-LNG Solutions Pte. Ltd., has established a unique professional training center in Shanghai for LNG fuel gas supply systems (FGSS) and cargo handling systems (CHS). This center not only serves as a main post-sale training base for C-LNG products but also offers the expertise of seasoned LNG operation experts and senior oil and gas process technicians, ensuring training is aligned with future operational environments and providing trainees with safe and reliable operational manuals and necessary training. To meet diverse needs, NAMTC and C-LNG jointly develop courses and curriculum, offering customized training arrangements. The courses consider the background and progress of each trainee, providing a personalized learning .

NAMTC's approach to training in dual-fuel ship technology is both comprehensive and progressive, ensuring that its trainees are well-equipped to meet the challenges of contemporary maritime operations.
