COURSE OBJECTIVE课程目标: The aim of this course is, therefore, to provide the participants (Ship Master) with professional shiphandling practices on the shiphandling simulators. At the end of this course, the participants would be able to: 1. Understand the fundamental principles and techniques of shiphandling. 2. Have a better understanding of the behavior of vessel when subjected to the various influence of tide, wind, hydrographic constrains and those inherent to vessel’s construction. 3. Plan and present a safe shiphandling maneuvering plan. 4. Execute a ship maneuvering plan in the shiphandling simulator safely
