In short, we have strong hearts. We do our best to protect our ship, our company, and our environment to preserve our work and to give our family a better life for the future!

It is 12 O'clock in the midnight or you can say it early morning, I start my work for today. The dark clouds slowly drift away as the Moon shows its soft moonbeam over the blue sea. Just like a shy girl! "Today will be a nice day", I told myself. I took a sigh with emotion as I watch the deep blue sea, calm and vast. The gentle waves crash on our vessel forward to aft. A never ending routine.....A never ending loneliness...

Time flies like the shadow of the sun passing through a crevice. Time passes like a flowing water. Some years ago, my heart was burning with great desire as I told pass the interview by Capt. Oikawa from Meiji Ship Grouping company (MMS), As I listened who is a captain, I feel someday, with hard work and Company guidance, my dreams will become a reality.
 
The wide ocean has long been a source of income and dreams of every seafarer who wants to invest for their families waiting at home. Now, I am in the realization of my dreams and in the fulfillment of my desire to travel to foreign countries. Here I experience stepping on strange places and meeting people with different cultures. I is makes me who I am today, not in the way other people think that being a seafarer is just like minting money, travelling to different places, seeing different ports, eating like king and living like a prince.

Seafarer is not only seamen, more duty and responsibility. The reality is, being a seafarer, we sacrifice our own happiness being away with our family, we work 7 days a week. We work even in rough seas. We barely sleep when the weather is bad due to rolling. We take overtime during any critical operations that needed an extra hand and work as a team. We do all these to ensure everything is in order and safe.

But in every busy day, we have this "Saturday Night"-So called Weekend Party. where all crew gathers on crew mess, eats together and enjoys videoke to lessen our loneliness. While at sea and the weather is good, we play some sports like basketball, Table tennis or We have Gym to keep us healthy.

Being a seafarer is not easy. Risk, patience and hard work are part of our job. While being away with my family, I cannot fulfill all my responsibilities to them as a son, as a father and husband.....However, it’s more of a failure if a man cannot provide the basic needs for the life of his family.

I took a sigh with emotion, “Our life is like an empty bottle lost in Wide Ocean, the waves take me anywhere, but it always leads me along the coast".

I am thankful and blessed to be part of this company (Sinocrew) who helps me improve as a seafarer,  " Life only a once, to be a true sailor" I told myself.

At last I hope all Seafarers have a safe voyage all the times and Happy New Year Lets open our heart to welcome the Year of 2020!!
